Band: Blood Runs Cold

Their formation story:
(Vocalist Joey Chiarmonte): "Evan, Dillon, and myself had all been friends for nearly a decade and had history touring together. In 2020, Dillon and Evan got together and wrote/recorded the Blood Runs Cold material and later asked me to sing in the band.
"Mike and Kyle joined leading up to our first show/first release. Both had also been long time friends and have music/touring history with the rest of the band."
Their sound in their own words:
"Heavy metallic hardcore. I think '90s, early '00s metallic hardcore and mosh metal makes up the DNA of the band."
Latest release info:
"Residuals/Kill Yourself is a promo which will roll into our first proper record. Six songs total coming out later this year on DAZE. Most of the songs come from a frustrated or hateful place. Depression, mortality, and frustration with the ways people operate both in subcultures and broader society inspired the lyrics for the record."
Future plans:
"No concrete plans. The band is super part-time. Just want to play shows on Long Island as often as we feel like playing, and if some cool opportunities come up to play select places we might make it happen. That being said, we’ll be playing on Long Island with Earth Crisis at Amityville Music Hall on April 2nd."

"I think Private Mind is underrated and deserves more love. There’s also a whole new crop of Long Island bands playing locally that are on their way up. Shoutout Pink Mist, Raid, and Submerge."
