Their formation story:
(Ted, drums): "Luke (guitar/vocals) and I met at the start of university and quickly found out we shared a passion for heavy music. From the beginning, we were set on starting a beatdown/hardcore band.
"A couple of months later, Luke got a message from Dan (bass), who also wanted to start a hardcore band. That's when Override was formed, and we started writing together."
Their sound in their own words:
"We blend aspects of mosh metalcore and beatdown, creating a unique sound that translates really well in a live setting. We have energetic parts and slow, brutal parts that complement each other and make every section stand out."
Latest release info:
"Our newest release will be our second single from our upcoming EP. The song is called 'Sick And Tired,' and it's one of our favorite songs to play live because it's a heavy hitter right from the start."
Future plans:
"Our plan is to play as many shows as we possibly can. We love seeing people go hard to our music, and we also love watching the other bands on the bill. We're also planning to release our debut EP later this year."
