Skitsystem and the folks involved have a long history that dates back to the backwoods of crust punk and death metal.
The impenetrable sound of Skitsystem dates back to 1994, which had members of At the Gates among others; the most notable was the late, great Tomas “Tompa” Lindberg (RIP).
Previous members went on to create music with the legendary Disfear, Agrimonia, and more.
Profithysteri is one of those records that binds us all from every spectrum of extreme music. Like Motörhead, Skitsystem has a way of bringing a room together through mutual Interests, not only in music but also in camaraderie.
Skitsystem is an asset to what’s been achieved in the world of hardcore punk and d-beat, and it’s with great appreciation that we’re able to get our crust punk-laden hands on it once again.
