SickOnes is a UK-based power trio that formed in 2016. Upon first listening to the band, I found myself bopping my head around like an idiot. Yes, these dudes know their way around a groove. Think Turnstile, Angel Du$t, and Dog Eat Dog and you'll be in the ballpark.

Now that I got your attention, let's move on to the matter at hand. Today, I'm presenting a new track from SickOnes called "Bad Way" that serves as a perfect introduction to the group. "It's about the every day effort of finding the energy to do what you've got to do," says Ben, the singer of SickOnes. "I find most days I'm completely unmotivated and it'd be so easy to be like 'fuck it' and make some destructive life decisions. The song questions if we have 'free will' in situations like this, or because of who we are, we are destined to self destruct."

"Bad Way" comes off SickOnes' forthcoming Find Energy EP, which the band will be supporting with a quick trek in the US with Ohio crossover act Divebomb. Philly outfit 3weekoldroses will also be on some of the dates. Check out more SickOnes-related info on their Facebook page.
