Ghost Fame: Massachusetts Quintet Brings Melodic Hardcore on “Scenes from a Marriage” (PREMIERE)

Hailing from Lowell, Massachusetts, Ghost Fame is a band influenced by mid-'00s hardcore in the vein of The Carrier and Verse. The quintet was previously on No Echo around their 2019 To All My Past Friends EP.

Since then, Ghost Fame has tracked a new record with Jay Maas (ex-Defeater) and Nick Cates (MouthBreather) slated to be released in early 2022.

Today, we're getting treated to a taste of the collection with "Scenes from a Marriage," a track that is being showcased via a music video we're happy to help premiere:

"With the new music we’ve been sitting on, we wanted to take a heavier more traditional approach with the songs. We are big fans of the fast punk beats and there is a lot more of that in the newer material. We also wanted more breakdowns [laughs].

“'Scenes From a Marriage,' we feel, is the most reflective of the new direction we’ve taken as a band. It feels like we are finally writing the music we’ve always wanted to write. If I had to show someone new what Ghost Fame sounds like this would without a doubt be the song. This song is just the start. We can’t wait for everyone to hear the rest of what we’ve been working on."
