Minnesota hardcore punk outfit BirdCop have been building their own lane since forming in early 2022. The five-piece draws on fuzzy punk, doom-laced riffs, desert-rock haze, and classic hardcore urgency, forging a sound that’s both eclectic and confrontational.
In just a few years, they’ve taken that blend across the Midwest, sharing stages with Henry Cluney (Stiff Little Fingers), Daikaiju, MaryJam, Toilet Rats, and more.
Today, No Echo is premiering BirdCop’s entire debut album, Class Warfare, ahead of its official release tomorrow. Spanning 10 tracks and 26 minutes, the record lights a fuse deep in the trenches of today’s widening class divide:
BirdCop frame the album as both an acknowledgment of growing inequality and a call to action. At a time when standing up for what’s right feels more urgent than ever, the band invite listeners to raise their voices and become part of something bigger than themselves.
