Meshing the unadulterated metallic mosh of bands like Jesus Piece and Knocked Loose with the groovier aspects of Trapped Under Ice's attack, Going Off got my attention a few weeks back. It turns out the Manchester, UK group is comprised of ex-members of All We Have and Broken Teeth, having formed towards the end of 2019.
Going Off's recently released eponymous demo is a nasty showcase of the new band's aforementioned stylistic approach:
