Anxious Arms is not only a great song by the Jealous Sound, but also a Sacramento, CA-based trio with a penchant for post-hardcore filled with dynamic hooks. They've been compared to bands like Far and Superheaven, and I can't disagree with that sonic assessment.
With two EPs and a couple of singles in their discography to date, Anxious Arms have made a music video for their latest release, a moody track called "Come Down on Me."
"We shot the video with a local dude named Jake Kilgore," said the Anxious Arms guitarist/vocalist Kyle Bolla in an email to No Echo. "I had a rough idea of what I wanted the video to be like—a '90s goth vibe. Jake was very into the idea and we just let him direct us on how he thought things should be. He used this old Sony Camcorder for the video, which we thought was perfect. It was overall a super fun time just running around the woods and trying to make things as creepy as possible."
In addition to the "Come Down on Me" music video, Anxious Arms will be heading out on a West Coast tour starting May 10 in Redding, CA and finishing up later that month with a hometown show in Sacramento. See the dates below and follow the band on their social pages for more info (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
