Their formation story:
(Terek Milligan, vocals): "Jake and I worked together at local venues, and we have been in several bands together (Talk Is Cheap and Ground Fight). Once those bands ended, we decided to do a dual vocal band and added Ground Fight drummer Alex and found guitarist Eli through a friend.
"We decided we want to keep all of our pictures fairly shaded as a lot of lyrics are going to be based around common problems that affect everyone—we as individuals don’t matter. We just want to make heavy music that people can relate to."
Their sound in their own words:
"We are a mix of hardcore/beatdown/metalcore. With the dual vocals, we try for a hardcore/deathcore sound similar to Despised Icon. I’d also say big influences are Traitors, Knocked Loose, and The Acacia Strain."
Latest release info:
"We just released our debut single, '20/20.' The lyrics are about regretting things you have said and how hindsight always seems to be perfect. Mostly about being frustrated with yourself."
Future plans:
"Right now, we have three songs ready to record. We’re going to release them as singles and keep playing local shows. We would love to do some regional touring at some point."
What other bands from the region should we check out?
"Denver has a great scene! Sin Eater is an awesome band that we have been friends with since they started. Suicide Cages is another one that’s doing awesome things. And of course Fox Lake—my old band—played a show with them at 7th Circle, and it’s cool to see them touring the world."
