Their formation story:
"Originally, we didn't intend to start a band—we just wanted to do something else besides spend money in bars all the time, around 2018. We just got together in a by-the-hour rehearsal spot in Brooklyn to fuck around and come up with stuff. Then the pandemic hit, and this band essentially became our sole outlet. It's just grown from there."
Their sound in their own words:
"We think of ourselves as rock 'n' roll, in the sense that we're not really thinking much about genres but just doing whatever makes us feel that primal hit of adrenaline. Between the four of us, we have a lot of influences across the spectrum of heavy music, and a lot outside of that too."
Latest release info:
"Escape From New York is our first album with our current lineup, with Joe handling vocals and Brian on bass. We recorded it with Sasha Stroud at Artifact Audio, who is great and understood what we're about from the get-go. It sounds exactly the way we wanted it to.
"In terms of the songs, they're all big steps up from what we did on our first EP and better at honing that lizard brain energy. All in all, we're pretty proud of it."
Future plans:
"We just released the record digitally and on CD in December. We're still booking shows to get the record out there, and we're hoping to be out a lot in 2024. We've also started writing for our next one, which is not far along—but what we've got so far we think slays."

"A lot of the bands we've played with are killer! Some we really like include No Guilt, Torsion, Drogato and Necrotic Society—but there's a lot of good music here."
