Sex Scenes is a hardcore punk band based out of Milwaukee that formed almost a decade ago. The group's sound leans into stompy rhythms and mid-tempo riffs with everything driving forward by the clear yet angry-sounding vocals of Sarah Turbo.
Despite its hardcore roots, Sex Scenes' sound still manages to yield hooks that sink in you after the first listen. Since forming, Sex Scenes have shared stages with everyone from Weedeater to Jack White to Giallo, which speaks to their wider sonic appeal.
The group has had lineup changes throughout their time together, and 2023 saw the release of Fed Up, the first EP to feature Sarah on vocals. Sex Scenes is currently gearing up to release Everything Makes Me Sick, a new full-length LP dropping next month.

Sex Scenes vocalist Sarah Turbo shared the following thoughts about the video:
"We got our super talented friend Victor Buell to do a video for two of our songs. We picked these two because one talks about 'the consumer' in a capitalist society and the other talks about our rejection of it."
With the album coming out soon, Sex Scenes will also be hitting the road throughout May in the States. The full listing of shows can be seen below.
