Momentum: LA Hardcore Band Offers Taste of Vicious New LP via “Overkill” (PREMIERE)

Time is meaningless. Somehow, it’s already been 5 years since the LA mercenaries known as Momentum dropped Bliss. Having members who have also served time in both Vamachara and Constrict, their return is a marked step forward for the band.

The intervening years have clearly been well spent, however, as Momentum's long-awaited return is an absolutely bruising term that will thrill Master Killer loyalists and those inclined towards all things heavy.

Having signed to the Connecticut stronghold DAZE, Momentum’s self-titled LP has at last captured the urgency inherent to their namesake. It’s their time.

No Echo is stoked to premiere their video for “Overkill” from their forthcoming album:

“'Overkill' became the staple to momentum’s new sound and direction," Momentum drummer Joshua Orellana told No Echo. "With the change in lineup, this led us to recreate the sound and incorporate our influences that helped define our technicality and dynamic structuring.”

Vocalist Jordan Jenkins simply stated: “The lyrics to 'Overkill' is violence envisioned."

Momentum will be out September 24th via DAZE. Hit this link to pre-order the vinyl, t-shirt, and poster today.
