Band: Nuclear Man

Their formation story:
(Bekim, drums) "Me and Carson play guitar in another band together and we got the idea to start a band that’s on the punkier side of things. We got Kayleb to come play bass and we recorded the demo.
"Once the demo was out, we didn’t actually have a guitar player yet. We went to a Jug show and saw Gram playing, we decided to ask them if they wanted in not really knowing them and that’s when we became a real band."
Their sound in their own words:
"I’d say most of our influences are more contemporary. When starting the band the whole goal was to sound like a cross between Impalers, GAG, BIB, and early Warthog."
Latest release info:
"Our latest release was a split with Human Target. We had some shows lined up together out east and thought it’d be a good idea to make a split and have it out for then. It ended up taking us much longer than anticipated and came out a few months afterwards [laughs]."
Future plans:
"We just recorded a song for a comp by Be About It that should be out early 2025. We’re also playing Better Things to Do in Vancouver in May."
