Their formation story:
(Mitchell, vocals): "During COVID in 2020, I lost my best friend. I wrote and recorded a bunch of songs and CJ (guitarist) heard them and convinced me and 4 other friends that we have been going/playing shows together for years to create Lost Cause 904. We try not to take this band too seriously, It's a mental escape for me and so old friends can play shows together."
Their sound in their own words:
"I'd describe us as punk hardcore. Lots of circle pits, occasional breakdown. Influences include AFI, Terror, Gorilla Biscuits, Kill Your Idols, and Jorjiana."
Latest release info:
"The I Don't Have the Time EP was written around my mental health after dealing with the sudden loss of my friend. Its all the rage and hate I was experiencing towards friends and life. This EP mainly comes from the view of hate, whereas our full length will be centered around the stages of grieving."
Future plans:
"Play shows, drink beer.As far as our next release, our LP is being recorded this summer and should be out later this year, and we will be releasing the occasional cover here and there in the meantime. Our next cover will be an old AFI track we will be releasing in a few months."
