Band: Fate's Hand
From: Chicago, Illinois
Their formation story:
(Will, vocals): "The formation started when I met our guitarist Ryan through mutual friends. We both shared an interest in wanting to start something up so we gathered some of our other close homies, and started writing some songs.
"We took it slow at first but over time it picked up a lot and it got a lot busier than we ever could’ve imagined. We would've never made it to where we're at without the support of our friends, promoters, bands we've played with, and our fans."
Their sound in their own words:
"We pull a lot of inspiration from the hardcore adjacent beatdown bands of the 2010s while still utilizing some thrashy/2-step crossover type stuff."
Latest release info:
"Our demo, Demonstration of Misfortune, is pretty DIY. Everything was tracked in a storage unit, and it was mixed and mastered by our good friend Isaac Salas from Studio 324. Our label, Truth In Action, helped us with distro, and they're all homies in their own bands as well."
Future plans:
"Our plans are to release a 2-song promo early next year, and keep getting out on the road as much as we can. We have already gotten a lot of experience this summer and look forward to every new opportunity we get."
What other bands from their region should we check out?
"The local homies you should listen to Confined, Don’t Front, Gored Embrace, Game of Death, No Shot, Sawmill aka Second 2 None, Southover, Damage Control, Sector, Hold My Own."
