Band: Almost Heaven
From: North Carolina
Their formation story:
(Ian Gilchrist, vocals): "Cam (guitars) and Jeremy (drums) had recorded 4 songs and then hit me up to sing over it. At the time, we were all in Ends Of Sanity and had known each other for a good while because of going to hardcore shows. We then approached Chris (bass) and Rob (guitar) to be in the band."
Their sound in their own words:
"I'd say we're heavily influenced by North Carolina hardcore in general, but for specific bands inside and outside of that realm I'd say it's a good mix of Advent, Terror Ave, Foundation, and Turmoil."
Latest release info:
"It's got a good bit of technicality to it and enough straight forward parts to make it listenable."
Future plans:
"Not really sure, everyone in the band has got a lot going on, I'm sure we'll play some shows here and there."
What are some other bands from your region we should check out?
"One by One, Advent, Fading Signal, Fake Eyes, A Sin Against God, Magnitude, Invoke, Ends of Sanity, Eyez Wide Shut, Relinquish, A Knife in the Dark, Your Son Is Dead, Watch Myself Die."
