I'm not sure how to accurately describe what Rashōmon are doing on "死体症候群." The new DC-based band's demo track is driven by a couple of slinky guitar riffs that slither about like something from a long-lost B-52's song, if they listened to Die Kreuzen instead of surf music. Rashōmon frontman Kohei has a screamy delivery that is more in line with traditional hardcore, and the combination of his vocals with the melodic guitar lines is especially effective.
