All I know about Ingrown at this juncture is that they hail from Boise, Idaho and that they just dropped a 6-song EP called Meathead. I first found out about the band from a friend who is always tipping me off to new music.
The sonic equation that makes up the Idaho group's sound is Youth of Today + Infest + Capitalist Casualties = Ingrown. You can hear that clearly on "Grunt," a song from their new EP. The band's no-nonsense approach is a love it or leave it sort of thing, and I'm obviously in.
