Sharp/Shock is a California power trio that pens and performs hook-driven punk in the same spirit as Buzzcocks and The Jam. Comprised of producer Davey Warsop (Bad Religion, Green Day) on guitar and vocals, acclaimed tattoo artist Dan Smith on bass, and drummer Korey Horn (The Aggrolites), Sharp/Shock recently issued their sophomore album, Youth Club, a fitting title for a record with so much energy and joyous melodies running throughout it.
In this exclusive video performance filmed at Hurley in Orange County, CA, Sharp/Shock perform their catchy-as-all-hell single, "Dancing All Night."
Sharp/Shock are in the middle of a tour run with Alkaline Trio and together PANGEA, continuing tonight at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver and going through till Oct. 18 at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, CA. The band will also be part of the Surf City Blitz in their backyard of Huntington Beach, CA. The festival will also feature such groups as Offspring, Rancid, and Social Distortion
Youth Club is avaiable now via Heart & Skull. Stream the entire LP on YouTube, and Spotify other streaming sites.
