Hungarian vegan straight edge killing machine Escalate are back for the attack. The Veszprém-based quintet just premiered their new track, “Vegan Warpath,” a blunt, uncompromising statement of intent. It's the first taste of their forthcoming EP for New Age Records, The Cry of Nature:
Formed in 2020 as the first fully vegan straight edge band in Hungary, Escalate use hardcore as a weapon against speciesism, oppression, and complacency. After releasing their debut full-length, Consequences, the band toured extensively across Europe, bringing their militant message to stages across the continent while staying rooted in DIY ethics.
To celebrate the April release of The Cry of Nature, Escalate will be playing a stacked show in Budapest alongside Time X Heist (U.S.), Supernova (UK), Sharp Tongues (Sweden), and Defied (Hungary):
