Back in 2023, I named Balmora's With Thorns of Glass and Petals of Grief EP one of the best records of the year. I'm psyched to report that the Connecticut band just suprised dropped some new heat via a 3-song EP called Prologue.
“There is something for everyone in the new Balmora material but at the end of the day, if you ever wanted to hear what The Black Dahlia Murder sounded like if they had Irate mosh parts, this will be for you," said the group in a statement about the EP.
Prologue serves as a sort of teaser for Balmora's debut full-length LP which will be out later in 2025. The new songs released today were produced by the band’s drummer, Chaz.
Balmora joins Torture, Sanction, Final Resting Place, and Azshara on the DAZE tour starting today. See all dates below.
