Their formation story:
(Anton, drums) "Chain of Survival was formed in 2019 in Liverpool, England. Part of the North West hardcore scene (NWHC), Foz (guitarist) wanted to put together a band with some of his oldest friends and make heavy music that holds meaning with a focus of mates together having fun.
"In a post pandemic world where the realization that music and the art of expression could have been taken away from us truly ignited the band, and put a fire beneath us. Now out of the pandemic Chain of Survival are ready to take it to the next level."
Their sound in their own words:
"Between us, we like a wide array of styles, primarily we all grew up on metal and thrash later on getting into hardcore and punk.
"Our main sound is a heavy crunch but with a groove to it, whilst keeping a toe in hardcore thrash punk. We try to fit in as many styles as we can to keep it interesting."
Latest release info:
"We released our first EP in October of 2022, Found tracks now available on Bandcamp, and all other major streaming services. "
Future plans:
"We are planning filming a music video for 'Made to Measure,' the last track from our EP, plus we’re working on an another EP and lining up a bunch of shows in and around the UK."
