Band: Burn Unit

Their formation story:
"Shman and Andrew used to be in a band together and Ethan used to fill in from time to time. So we were already close and comfortable making music together. When that band started coming to and end we decided we wanted a new sound with our next project.
"We put the word that we needed another guitarist and a bassist and that’s when we got Ruben and Justin. We got our name because a few years ago Andrew accidentally set Ethan on fire and then we thought Burn Unit would be a sick name and a funny joke between us."
Their sound in their own words:
"Our influences are all over the place between the five of us. Incendiary, Speechless at Gunpoint, Foundation, Have Heart, Slipknot, and God's Hate are all big for us. We kind of write all over the place but if we had to narrow it down we’d say we sound like If a Neanderthal wrote Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire by Hatebreed in 2023."
Latest release info:
"We recorded it with Jack Shirley at Atomic Garden. It’s a short little three-track demo. We’re extremely proud of it. This is just the demo so there will be more to come!"
Future plans:
"We have a few shows coming up and plan on putting out physical music and some merch soon. On top of that, we plan on doing a split pretty soon as well as some shows outside of Fresno coming up."
