Sledges is a San Diego-based band that first started playing together during the COVID lockdowns in 2020. Comprised of Philly Gomez (guitar/vocals), Alex Angulo (bass), Julian Romero (guitar), and Mason Haidar (drums), the group fleshes out a sound that sits somewhere between shoegaze and post-hardcore.
Since forming, Sledges have released a steady stream of singles, and playing shows locally throughout that time. 2023 saw the band release their debut EP, Losing Pace. The record garnered a warm reception, leading the folks at Quiet Panic to sign the band to their growing roster which also includes Slow Crush, Filth Is Eternal and M.U.T.T.
With a new EP coming out this summer, Sledges are teasing the release a new track from the record called "Fading":
If you're in the San Diego area, Sledges will be on a live bill with Ringo Deathstarr and Taleen Kali at Soda Bar on May 26th.

The new Sledges EP will be out in June via Quiet Panic.
