Harker: UK Melodic Post-Hardcore Unit Returns With “The Beast Must Die” (VIDEO PREMIERE)

Harker last appeared on No Echo less than a year ago around the time the band released their Axiom album. Formed in 2014, the UK combo scratches a certain '90s post-hardcore itch in the vein of Samiam and Sense Field, with melancholic melodies and driving guitars keeping things moving forward.

Next month, Harker will be releasing Live at Southsea Sound, a 4-song EP featuring tracks from the superb aforementioned Axiom LP.

Today, No Echo is happy to premiere "The Beast Must Die," the first track unleashed from the forthcoming EP:

“After the release of our second record Axiom, we headed to our old stomping ground of Southsea Sound to record some live footage in the absence of being able to tour," Hawker guitarist/vocalist Mark Boniface told No Echo via email.

"What you have here is us in our most intense, loudest sounding form. Turn it up so yr ears hurt. Lightning in a bottle!”

Live at Southsea Sound is out digitally on February 11th via Wiretap Records. Here's the
Spotify and Bandcamp pre-save links.
