Damien Done is the musical alter-ego of Damien Moyal, the singer known for his work in such bands Culture, As Friends Rust, Morning Again, and Shai Hulud. With his solo material, Moyal mines from dark post-punk and the new wave influences of his youth.
In early September, Mind Over Matter Records will be issuing Curious Thing, a new EP from Damien Done. The label has just released a music video for the title track which was filmed by Three Goats Moving Pictures in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Limited to only 200 total copies, the 7" features a striking cover courtesy of Alison Brady, a photographer who was named one of the top emerging artists in the world by Saatchi Gallery. The B-side of the EP includes a cover of Killing Joke’s “Primitive,” which will only be available on this release.
