Whipping up an explosive combination of gritty hardcore and melodic California-styled punk, you wouldn't be crazy assuming Choices Made hailed from somewhere like Huntington Beach or Philadephia.
But as No Echo told ya last year, Choices Made actually call Toronto, Canada home. Formed in 2018, the group has already released a pair of EPs—Don't Settle for Them! (2018) and Convince (2020)—and they've also dropped a slew of singles during the pandemic lockdown.
Keeping that inspired pace up, Choices Made are about to release a new 7 inch EP entitled Reason for Conflict later this week, and you can stream the entire thing below. This would make for a great soundtrack to your next skate session, just saying:
"This is the peanut butter and jelly sandwich of hardcore punk...enough salt to make you think, and enough sugar to put you on a high," Choices Made bassist Andrew excitedly tells No Echo. "I'm fuckin' proud of this release!"
The Reason for Conflict vinyl begins shipping on May 15th via Cursed Blessings Records. If you're in Europe, hit up Hellride Mailorder for a copy.
