Band: Regression

Their formation story:
(James, drums): "In March of 2023 I put out the first Regression demo on YouTube, and at the time it was just me recording everything in my garage. I had no idea what I was doing, but at some point recording solo demos I figured out how to rip off the Crossed Out 7” well enough that June and Gary were interested in playing some of the songs live.
"After a while, we switched Gary to vocals and added Alana on bass. From there everything became much more collaborative and we became a 'real band.'"
"Regression plays no frills power violence. We take influence from the obvious '90s underground classics (Crossed Out, Infest, etc.) mixed with our own individual tastes in extreme music. We like to play fast and heavy, with the occasional 2 measure breakdown thrown in."
Latest release info:
"Pissed-off power violence made by good friends. Heedful to None is our first collaborative project as a band so it took a while to get the songs to a spot where we all were content with them. Our friends Bryan and Michael from Human Future Records were kind enough to distribute tapes. We’re super proud of it and we hope you like it."
Future plans:
"We just wrapped up a 5-day run with Blood Stained Concrete from Los Angeles. Our last show of 2024 is their record release in LA which we’re all looking forward to. Right now we’re writing material that’s probably going to be used for a split. We want to play outside of California again and hopefully have an LP out in the next year or two. We’ll see."
