(Mark Anda, guitar): "Gylt is a five piece crossover band that formed in June 2023, with the idea of exploring the relationship between the divinity of anger and the cost of redemption. Gylt writes songs about torture, penance, absolution and how they exist in our contentious relationship with the punitive aspects of god."

"Our style is noisy, fast, and raw. We are heavily influenced by old hardcore, thrash, and crust."

"I Will Commit a Holy Crime is a 6-song EP that showscases the first songs we wrote together as a band."
Future plans:
"The immediate plans for the band is to continue playing shows and work on new material. This fall we are set to play C.Y. Fest with Death Side, Antisect, Mob 47, M.D.C., and Skitsystem. We will be playing direct support for Blood Brothers in November at the Belasco in LA, and we are also working on potential tours."
