Their formation story:
(Marc, guitars): "Eyes Front features members from current and dissolved groups such as Hatchet Face, Marla Maria, Hate Mission, Nothing Gold, Repugnant Scum, Sealed Fate, and Tombstalker.
“At the time when Chris, Cody and I were in Hatchet Face, Edmonton Hardcore was being resuscitated by False Body, Sealed Fate, and Vibes. We just wanted to have a hand in bringing it back to life so that’s how Eyes Front started. After a couple lineup changes Bradley joined as our second guitarist and Nate came in on bass last year. Our lineup is now rock solid at a time when Edmonton Hardcore is on the rise, which only helped push us to write the heaviest EP we have to date.”

"We are a hardcore band at heart, but we like to pull inspiration from some other genres of heavy music such as crossover, beatdown, and metalcore.
Latest release info:
"Our new self-titled EP is the culmination of a year’s worth of writing and recording. This project represents our journey to solidify our sound, blending different influences from each band member into a cohesive whole. These songs also feature a different lineup than our last EP.
"We faced some lineup changes that ultimately strengthened our unity and musical direction. The resulting tracks truly represent who we are and what we aim to achieve as a band. With this EP, we are proud to present a definitive statement of our identity, hence the self-titled name.”
Future plans:
"With the release of our EP, our plans involve playing some out of town shows in new cities and getting our name out there. We’ve established ourselves in central Canada, and we’re now looking to tour the Pacific Northwest and Eastern Canada to reach some fresh audiences."
