DSGNS might be making their debut on No Echo today, but the band's history runs back 9 years. Based in the musical hotbed of Austin, TX, the quartet features musicians who have also played in such bands as Spitfire, Project 208, and Thumbscrew.
In terms of their sonic approach, DSGNS draws influence from such bands as Converge, Deftones, and Zao. Since forming almost a decade ago, DSGNS have self-issued a handful of releases, and they recently spent time in Seattle working with producer Matt Bayles (Botch, Minus the Bear) on their forthcoming album, Ceremony. No Echo is pleased to present the premiere of "Crooked Teeth," a track from the EP:
DSGNS said the following about the song:
"'Crooked Teeth' is the opening track on Ceremony. It's a short story of how passion turns into deceit by way of fortune hunting and deceptive casualness eventually leading to becoming estranged."
Ceremony will be out on January 20 and can be pre-ordered at this link. DSGNS on social media: Facebook | Instagram | Twitter
