Mathew Morand is a prolific musician previously know for his work in the bands Lychi and Self Defense Family. Today, he is putting another notch in his belt with releasing his first music video for the new solo project, Pretty Matty.
The song is pure power pop bliss (think Burnout-era Green Day meshing with the song “Unleashed! The Large Hearted Boy” by Guided By Voices) and it's paired up against grainy 8mm images in the music video, which was directed by Jono Hunter. This track anticipates the release of the Pretty Matty EP due to be self-released by Morand on March 20.
