Long before comedy specials, podcast appearances, and touring with stand-ups, Neil Rubenstein was part of the ’90s Long Island hardcore community fronting both Irony of Lightfoot and Sons of Abraham, the latter of which remains a perfect audio snapshot of the mid-to-late '90s collision between hardcore and metal.
In 2023, Rubenstrin released his stand-up comedy special Have Some Dignity through Equal Vision Records. The show opens with an introduction from Taking Back Sunday, and Neil has even appeared on Kill Tony discussing his longtime connection to the band.
Beyond that, Rubenstein has toured with internet sensation Chelcie Lynn (aka Trailer Trash Tammy), comedian Ashley Gavin, and has opened for artists including Thursday, Motion City Soundtrack, and Bayside.
