Bay Area 2-man grindcore cultists Mormon Mincers are finally bringing years of chaos to physical format with their upcoming debut LP, The Book of Mince, due out in just a couple of weeks.
The latest preview from the record arrives through “Join Us,” a new video directed by Paul Barfo of Godstomper and filmed inside Oakland’s notorious 9 Lives Warehouse. The clip also features appearances from members of Cartilage, Post Nasal Drainage, and Connoisseur.
Though the band keeps its members anonymous, Mormon Mincers are deeply rooted in California’s power violence and grindcore underground, featuring musicians from several legendary Bay Area bands. They might or might not be part of some religious cult with a stronghold in Utah:
The Book of Mince delivers 21 tracks of what the band describes as “unhinged and demented doomsday anthems,” alongside artwork from Belgian artist Jasper “Infested Art” Swerts (Nasum, Yacopsae, Phobia).
In addition to the album release, Mormon Mincers will kicking off a full U.S. tour on May 15, with additional North American dates already lined up throughout the rest of the year.

The Book of Mince will be released through Blackhouse Records Ltd. on colored vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital formats, with the streaming release arriving June 5. (pre-order).
