As annoying as social media can often be, it has definitely helped me throughout the years running No Echo. Some weeks back, I connected with Jeremy Jacobs, a fellow hardcore head who photographed tons of Midwest shows in the '90s. He was nice enough to send me a bunch of shots from the era to share with our readers today.

"Hello. Attached below are the photos I compiled from 1997-1999. These are all old film scans. That said, when shooting back then whether it was a point and shoot or a SLR I didn't know much about film ISO speeds or flash settings.
"Most of these were shot on discounted and expired film so I did the best I could to make them look like something. Back in those days being a broke high school/college kid saving lunch money to a buy 7-inch or film."
