Baton Rouge meets Brooklyn on No Echo today via "Something Else Entirely," the latest single from Decoy.
The metallic hardcore unit has teamed up with Merauder vocalist Jorge Rosado on the aformetioned track, which opens with an ominous sample and only gets grimmer from there. ""We don't care how you take it...it's us," says Decoy drummer Lucien Champion of the collaboration.
"We have Jorge from Merauder lending some vocals attributing to our case but in his own way which is honestly so amazing and special to us. We really don't need to say much about it, I mean it's fucking Jorge from Merauder, one of our favorite singers of all time."
The song follows "Becoming," Decoy's previous single which came out back in February. The songs mark the Louisiana band's new alliance with Upstate Records, the New York label also behind recent releases by Brick By Brick, Heavy Is the Head, and Locked Down.
"Something Else Entirely" is available now on music streaming outlets via Upstate Records and Blood Blast Distribution.
