Split between Lancaster and Long Beach, ’92 have been carving out a distinct lane that pulls from ’90s hip-hop, groove, and hardcore. When No Echo first profiled the Los Angeles outfit back in 2024, they said their musical approach was influenced by Biohazard, Leeway, Onyx, Westside Connection, Trapped Under Ice, and The Warriors.
After dropping a pair of singles last year, ’92 return with “’92 Till Infinity”—a nod to the title track of the classic LP 93 'til Infinity by Souls of Mischief. “‘’92 Till Infinity’ started as a song about unity, but over time it turned into something more personal,” vocalist Jabril tells No Echo. “It became about our friend Gillan, who we lost—he was born in 1992.”

What began as a broader idea shifted into something much more direct and emotional. “At a certain point, it stopped being an idea and became something real,” Jabril says. “Now it’s about carrying him with us in everything we do. At the same time, it’s for anyone who’s lost someone and still feels that presence with them.”
