Band: Entice
From: Lower Central Valley, California
Their formation story:
(Josh, guitars): "I wrote all of this music back in 2020 right in the middle of the stay-at-home mandates and had every member pretty much already set except for the singer.
"4 years later I hit up one of my really good friends Christian to sing in it. He had been wanting to sing again since his last band was no longer doing anything and I needed a singer so it was a no-brainer to have him front the band. Just a bunch of homies excited to be playing music together."
Their sound in their own words:
"Our sound is straight-up metalcore. Bleeding Through is one of my favorite bands of all time so they were one of the bigger influences in writing this music. Pretty much any late '90s/early '00s metalcore bands have had an influence in this music.
"I think if you enjoy Bleeding Through, Walls of Jericho, and Sounding the Seventh Trumpet-era Avenged Sevenfold, you’ll fuck with this."
Latest release info:
"This release is 3 songs that took 4 years to finally come out. I hadn’t planned on it taking that long but I’m glad that it’s finally out and it’s with the people that are in it now. It’s a short demo but it really encases what we’re going for as a band and the sound that we’re wanting to bring to the scene."
Future plans:
"As of right now, we don’t have any immediate plans except to play our first show. Announcement on that may be coming very soon here so keep an eye out for that! Other than that, only plans are to have fun and rip gigs with my friends."
What other bands from their egion should we check out?
"There’s so many good bands from our area, we’re really fortunate. To name a few, check out Palmreader, Guerrero, Rally Cry, and Martirio. You won’t be disappointed!"
