Sanguisugabogg vocalist Devin Swank has launched a new project called Ablation alongside Suffocation drummer Eric Morotti and bassist Derek Boyer, and ex-Dehumanized guitarist Rich Nagasawa, rounding out the lineup. The band is set to release its debut six-song EP, Lethal Abuse, through Iron Fortress Records later this month.
Blending brutal precision with old-school death metal savagery, Lethal Abuse feels remarkably locked in for a debut release. The EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Joe Cincotta (Obituary, Internal Bleeding) at Full Force Studio, capturing the ferocity and ugliness driving the material with clarity and force.
