Chesty Malone and the Slice 'Em Ups are back at it again with new music in tow. Hell Is Full and We Need the Room is the latest collection from the punk outfit, which their label, Cleopatra Records, describes as "Motörhead meets Killing Joke style stompers to early Metallica meets NYHC."

The 4-song EP was recorded and produced by John Bechdel from Ministry and is the follow-up to the group's 4th album, Please Chesty, Don’t Hurt ‘em!, which dropped in 2022.

"This might be our greatest dive into the very depths of hell," says vocalist Jaqueline Blownaparte. "We came, we saw, we brought back the evil from below and pummeled it into an onslaught of audio perversion! And there’s no more room!”

Check out the video for "Hell Is Full," which features artwork by Chesty Malone and the Slice 'Em Ups guitarist Anthony Allen Begnal, and animation and editing by Danielle Crowe:

Hell Is Full and We Need the Room sees the in-studio return of the band's Torture Rock LP lineup: Jaqueline Blownaparte: Bringer of Evil, Anthony Allen Van Hoek: Guitar Mangler, Üruk Brutal: Lowend Agony, and Angel Cotte (Demolition Hammer): Asalto y Batería.

"We had a blast working with JB ;John Bechdel]," says Van Hoek. "It was also awesome recording with Angel and Uruk again, even though we're spread all over the place these days. I also enjoy that one of our most complicated arrangements (“Chesty Malone Rules, Poseurs Fuck Off!”, whose title is based on some classic Plasmatics graffiti found on the walls of CBGB back in the day) is graced with one of our most lowbrow and hilarious titles. I love a good paradox.”

Hell Is Full and We Need the Room is available digitally and on CD via Cleopatra Records (order here).
