Band: Out In Front
From: Columbus, Ohio

Their formation story:
(Keenan McNeal, guitar): "Out In Front has been 4 years in the making. Sometime around late 2020/early 2021, I was living in Pennsylvania and wanted to do a hard straight edge band. I was jamming with some homies there, but it never got off the ground. I reached out to our now vocalist, Knox, and asked if he wanted to do vocals in a band, and after I sent him the songs, he was down, so we got to work trying to find other members.

"Fast forward to 2024, after many member changes, and other setbacks, we finally had a solid lineup with Knox on vocals, Eric on bass, Isaac and myself on guitars, and Mike on drums."

Their sound in their own words:
"Our sound is heavily influenced by harder '90s East Coast hardcore bands like Billy Club Sandwich, Irate, Hatebreed, and All Out War, with heavy parts inspired by bands like Cold as Life."

Latest release info:
"We just released our first demo titled Complacent Suffering a few weeks ago. It was tracked by our good friend Graham Ritchie at Oranjudio Recordings in Columbus, Ohio, and mixed/mastered by our vocalist Knox. We worked really hard to get this out and we’re all so happy with how it turned out.

"These songs encompass everything that this band set out to be. Pissed off, aggressive, hard ass songs, for the straight edge, by the straight edge. Complacent Suffering is out now on bandcamp as well as every streaming service. We’ll have physicals in the near future through Vizion2Radio."

Future plans:
"We plan on hopping on shows locally and booking a weekender in the near future so that we can get our name out regionally. We are also working on our next release that we hope to have out early next year."

What other bands from their region should we check out?
"Violent Nature, 2am Headshots, Maranatha, Bather, Walking Wounded, You Die First, Limb From Limb, and Nothing Like You."
