Formed in 2016, and featuring members of Deep Creeps and Memory Smoker, Denim Casket is a power trio from Boise, ID ultizing two bassists in their lineup. Though no guitars can be found on the band's 2018 demo, you would be hard-pressed to find a heavier batch of recently released songs.
With a sound that can best be described as power violence meets AmRep, Denim Casket (how about that name?!) like their shit low and putrid-sounding. "Wrinkled Shirt" is an ugly track that mixes slow-churning sludge with faster moments that sometimes rip into blast beat territory. The vocals are of the clear yet aggressive variety, and that suits this stuff perfectly.
