Hello, it’s Wyatt for No Echo with another Comedy x Hardcore installment. This time, we’re switching up the format with a video interview featuring writer, comedian, and actress Bailey Pope. Her comedy special, Bailey Pope: AKA, premiered at number one on iTunes, and she has been featured on SiriusXM, Prime Video, and more.
Bailey is no stranger to the hardcore scene, often posting relatable reels and commentary on hardcore and metal across her social media. You can catch her at shows like Swing Kids or at events like The Fest. She’ll also be performing with Satanic Planet (Planet B, Mr. Bungle) on April 30 in New York City.
She frequently shares bills with fellow comedian Neil Rubenstein, who hardcore fans may remember from Sons of Abraham (their split with Indecision is a must-listen).
It’s always great to see comedians and the hardcore/metal world intersect.
