Their formation story:
(Vicky, vocals): “The band started during a joke rehearsal session. We all knew each other from the Lombardia (IT) DIY punk scene, and while Ruggero (guitar) and Sandro (bass) already shared one band, I had zero experience making music. We were hanging out in their rehearsal space one day, and teaming up with Lely (drums) we ended up building from there.
"It’s been almost two years since then and I’m so grateful they believed in me even though I was a novice.”
Their sound in their own words:
“I think it’s easy to tell we make hardcore punk but love other styles of music as well. We play the more metallic iteration of hardcore, I’d say.”
Latest release info:
“The album is called Flesh & Weapon, we wrote it during our first months of existence as a band and it just came out. It’s got a little bit of everything we learned and loved during our early 20s in the Italian DIY scene. Our main composing members on string instruments are influenced by their love of screamo, with plenty of wonky sections and melodies.
"Our drummer, on the other hand, is the biggest metal fan I know, and really came through with that heavy, fast drumming. My personal main inspirations are Jacob Bannon and Billie Eilish. That’s why I’m so angry and sad on this album, maybe.”
Future plans:
“We are currently touring Italy and working on EU dates for 2025, maybe UK early 2026? Fingers crossed, help us book if you’re reading this!! We’d love to make more music too, when everyone’s not so busy with work.”
