When it comes to heavy music, Sweden rarely disappoints. City Keys keep up the winning spirit with "Condemned," a track off the metallic hardcore band's forthcoming Rites EP. Recorded and produced by Tomas Skogsberg (Dismember, At the Gates) at the beloved Sunlight Studio, the track moves along to a serpentine-like pace, all the while bringing to mind Integrity. Then the song speeds up, revealing a more Entombed and Carnage-like side to their attack.
All in all, "Condemned" is a huge tease for the Rites EP which will be out sometime this summer, and I'll be all over it when it finally arrives.
