There's no arguing with that Knocked Loose are one of the most popular bands in the hardcore scene today. That's why it's big news today that the Louisville, Kentucky will be releasing their third studio album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, the follow-up to the quintet's 2021's A Tear in the Fabric of Life EP.
The album's title originates from Knocked Loose vocalist Bryan Garris, who suffers from what he calls a “borderline phobia of flying,” and an extremely trying flight he had once. When he confided his anxiety to the woman sitting next to him, she told the singer, “You won’t go before you’re supposed to.”
With a headlining North American tour already selling out, Knocked Loose is gearing up for the May release of the album by dropping a music video for the track "Blinding Faith." The clip was directed by Kevin Lombardo:
“It was just hilarious how many people showed up to church that I knew were rude, horrible, selfish people,” Knocked Loose guitarist Isaac Hale reflects of attending church with his mother in his younger years. “They knew that it made them seem like a better person — or if they said the words, it would redeem them of any negative quality just because they showed face.”
You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To will be out on May 10th via Pure Noise Records (pre-order/pre-save).
